Artwork

My artistic style is continuously evolving as I stretch into the use of patterns and color. I find inspiration in all things and appreciate the many beautiful and unseen layers hidden beneath our every day perception.

Paint Classes
003
My experience as an art instructor took off through a sip and paint company known as Paint Nite in 2017. I quickly found that teaching was my true calling. Aside from my private, entertainment style events, I also enjoy sharing my passion for art with at-risk youth and those in recovery.

Projects | Udon Thani, Thailand

005

My contribution to Volunt2Thai was a Utah inspired mural on their main campus. I funded the supplies via my personal art print sales prior to traveling overseas. I taught one class to the kids, though they were also encouraged to participate in the central piece.

Alongside the mural, a portion of the funds raised was invested into a shared music studio space, in which all instruments were revamped and cared for. We also raised enough to purchase a large sound system for the surrounding 13 villages to gather and use during events on their main campus.

A young Thai girl receiving her single pair of pants and cookie - her one and only Christmas gift. All children were gifted the same, all gleaming with joy.

A snapshot of the holiday feast we helped prepare over 3 days while awaiting the 13 surrounding villages on main campus.

A group photo of the art collective’s first year running.
During the pandemic of 2020, many of our friends struggled for work and art sales tanked. We all worked in the service industry outside of our hobbies and passions.

We set out to host a free, outdoor, underground farmer’s market to help other artists in the area make ends meet and stay connected.

A snapshot of the environment during our third season.
We ran for a total of 4 years, and were blown away at the colorful, inclusive community we were able to build through such a difficult time - right in our very own backyard.

Music
I find it hard to define my style and genre, but if I had to, I’d say to imagine Ani Difranco blended together with Tash Sultana and a dash of lyrical, wordsmithing rap. My ongoing music project is a self produced and entirely solo pursuit. You can follow along on my Spotify or SoundCloud.
